Awoarded contract for two chimneys by Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation for its power plant, one a 150m chimney for the coal-fired units and the other 100m chimney for the gas-fired units in 2013. This project successfully extended our slipform EPC expertise overseas to Vietnam. |
2012 |
Completed the 153m Combined Plant Service Stack for TPC’s Longmen (Nuclear Power Plant #4) Project, and Awarded contract for Son Duong Port jetty wharf & revetment construction for Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation. |
2011 |
Undertook construction of ash pond and fabrication of armor blocks for Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation, marking the company’s entry into the Vietnam market. |
2009 |
Awarded TPC’s Zhanglin Extra High Voltage Substation construction project; increased capital to NT$119 million; reclassified as a Class A general contractor in accordance with government regulation changes; certified ISO 9001:2008 by DNV. |
2006-2008 |
Participated in Dragon Steel Corporation’s Phase 2 expansion projects and bore witness to the sustained development of the steel industry in Taiwan. |
2006 |
Completed both the 250m chimney for Units #9 & 10 and ash silo for Taichung Power Plant, TPC. Chia Cheng completed slipforming three 80,000m3 cryogenic ethylene & propylene storage tanks (77m inner diameter, 26m high, 70cm wall thickness) for Formosa Petrochemical Corporation’s 6th Naphtha Cracking Project at Mailiao, as subcontractor to Tractebel Gas Engineering GmbH (Taiwan Branch). |

In cooperation with GSB of Germany, utilized tapered conical slipforming technology to construct the chimney for Combined Cycle Unit #6 at TPC’s Tongxiao Power Plant. |

Successfully accomplished the turnkey (EPC) project of egg-shaped sludge digesters and energy recovery system at Bali Sewage Treatment Plant. |
1977-1991 |
Starting with a variety of state-run projects in different fields, such as expressways, slope protections, bridges, box culverts and caissons. Chia Cheng developed fast with solid civil engineering professionalism and cross-field construction experience. Soon after, China Cheng enhanced its competitiveness by undertaking industrial plants and coal-fired power plant projects for clients such CPC, TSRC, OUCC and TPC. |
